The grain export volume of Ukraine in the fiscal year 2023/24 (starting from July) was 50.826 million tons, an increase of 3.2% from the previous year's 49.236 million tons. The export volume of wheat was 18.402 million tons, compared to 16.894 million tons in the previous year; The export volume of corn was 29.389 million tons, compared to 29.228 million tons in the previous year; The export volume of barley was 2.491 million tons, compared to 2.712 million tons in the previous year.
The grain production for 2024/25 is 56 million tons, including 21 million tons of wheat, 28.5 million tons of corn, and 5 million tons of barley. The expected grain export volume for 2024/25 (July to June) is 43 million tons, including 15 million tons of wheat and 25 million tons of corn. The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture predicts that the oilseed production in 2024 may reach 21 million tons, including 13 million tons of sunflower seeds, 4 million tons of rapeseed, and a record breaking 5 million tons of soybeans.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture stated that the export volume of grains, oilseeds, and vegetable oils in 2024/25 will exceed 60 million tons, with oilseeds and finished products reaching 17 million tons.
