Since November, Brazil's corn exports have decreased by 23% year-on-year
According to statistics from the Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), Brazil's corn exports have been 1.707 million tons so far in November, compared to 7.406 million tons for the entire month of November last year. From November 1st to 8th, Brazil exported an average of 284499 tons of corn per day, a decrease of 23.2% compared to November last year.
Since November, the export value of corn has reached 360 million US dollars, compared to 1.68 billion US dollars for the entire month of November last year.
Since November, the average export price of corn has been 211.0 US dollars per ton, a decrease of 6.5% compared to the same period last year.
As a reference, Brazil's corn exports in October 2024 were 6.41 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 24%.
In September 2024, Brazil's corn export volume was 6.42 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26.6%.
In August, Brazil's corn export volume was 6.06 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 35.2%.
In July, Brazil's corn export volume was 3.55 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.1%.
The export volume of corn in June was 850893 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.7%.
The export volume of corn in May was 421374 tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%.
