At present, the average production time per week in starch factories is 3.5 days (compared to last week -0.3 days); The purchase price of relevant fresh potato raw materials is 2100-2200 VND/kg in the southern region (compared to last week -0 VND/KG, local potatoes, discounted by 30% powder content), 2020-2120 VND/kg in the central region (compared to last week -0 VND/KG, discounted by 30% powder content), and production is suspended in the northern region. Secondly, in terms of the market, due to the comprehensive impact of factors such as the shutdown of starch factories in northern Vietnam and the still sluggish demand in the Chinese market, the export market of cassava starch in Vietnam has maintained a fluctuating and wait-and-see trend, with prices reported as flat. The latest quotes for mainstream brands are (Qingdao Port CIF): low-end products 315-325 (-0), ordinary products 330-340 (-0), and high-quality products 350-360 (-0) (USD/ton).
