1、Forex News: USD/CNY exchange rate continues consolidating near recent lows, showing signs of upward recovery.

2、CCTV: Russia-UN grain export memorandum expires without renewal.

3、NBS (National Bureau of Statistics): China's H1 2025 GDP grew 5.3% YoY, exceeding expectations.

4、NBS: National fixed-asset investment reached ¥24.8654 trillion in H1 2025, up 2.8% YoY.

5、Starch World: Northern ports' corn inventory totaled 2.30 million tons as of July 12, down 296,000 tons WoW.

6、Starch World: 96 corn processors held 4.26 million tons inventory as of July 17, down 4.3% WoW.

7、Starch World: Chinese customs tightened import starch inspections; multiple shipments rejected due to quality issues.

8、Domestic corn starch spot prices stabilized with slight declines; trading volume dipped; average price in key consumption areas fell ¥20/ton.

II. International Developments

1、EU 2025/26 grain exports down 63% YoY, imports down 80% YoY (as of July 13).

2、U.S. corn spot market rose (July 18, 2025).

3、FranceAgriMer: French 2025/26 wheat ending stocks to hit 21-year high.

4、Vietnam Customs: Cassava & product exports reached 2.2627 million tons in Jan-Jun 2025, up 63.23% YoY.

5、Vietnam Customs: Exports to China totaled 2.148 million tons Jan-Jun 2025, up 70.33% YoY.

6、Ukraine Ministry: 2025/26 grain exports reached ~720,000 tons (as of July 18).

7、Starch World: Thai border closures diverted Cambodian cassava to Vietnam, restarting some starch plants.
