据菲律宾农业部周四称，受台风海贝思的影响，菲律宾稻谷和玉米行业遭受了3544万比索的损失，这相当于82.4万美元。
农业部称，台风海贝思影响了1,195公顷稻田，导致稻农损失了1800万比索。而1,946公顷玉米农田被毁，损失达1744万比索。
虽然农作物被毁，今年稻谷产量目标仍维持不变，为1600万吨。
农业部稻谷项目组主任Frisco Malabanan说，损失甚微。大多数农户已经收获了主季稻谷，目前准备种植新稻。
稻谷产量目标比上年增长3.8%。
另外一场强台风Mitag将于本周晚些时候在菲律宾东部沿海着陆。
