据尼报报道，尼Crown Agro-Allied Industries公司决定投资102亿奈拉建一座日产20万升的木薯酒精炼厂，位置在科吉州Lokoja-Kabba公路沿线，预计工期18个月。
该项目还包括一个日产100吨的淀粉厂，和一个100公顷的农场。农场建成需要18－24个月，用以生产木薯，建成后将是非洲乃至世界最大的木薯农场。
燃料酒精项目是尼政府所鼓励的，酒精作为汽油的添加成分将成为重要的汽车燃料，而且对于环境保护非常有利。
